Shipping Policy

SHIPPING POLICY

  1. Once eggs are shipped, the buyer assumes responsiblty for handling, shipping conditions, incubation choices and techniques. Although I want everyone to have a great hatch rate, there are many factors that effect this once they leave my hands. Hatch rates and embryo development are not guaranteed.

  2. Once you receive the eggs, inspect them immediately and if there are issues a claim should be filed with the shipping company, such as UPS or USPS or FedEx ASAP. The seller cannot file the claim , this has to be done by the buyer.

  3. Remember that an egg that does not begin development does not mean it is not fertilized. Damage, temperature and humidity fluctuations, as well as incubators used and incubation techniques can all effect development. Also after an egg has been in the incubator for a few days you cannot crack and check fertilization anymore, it is not accurate.

  4. By purchasing eggs from The Mad Clucking Farm LLC, the buyer accepts responsiblity for their care. Hatch rates are not guaranteed. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.

KEEP IN MIND

  • 50% hatch rate for shipped eggs is considered good.

  • About 50% will be males and 50% will be females.

  • Black Copper Marans eggs are harder to hatch. Please do your research.

  • The Mad Clucking Farm LLC checks fertility weekly by cracking eggs and visualizing, as well as hatching eggs continuously.

  • Refunds and replacements are review case by case and are NOT guaranteed.
